Boundaries and Blocks

“Boundaries can simply be that which guides you, that which prevents you from straying beyond the path which you have chosen to walk. Blocks are challenges that you have chosen to overcome to know more about yourself and be on your true path”. Bashar The Silver Cord.

Discussion: Usually we set boundaries when they have already been breeched. We all go through that feeling of being pulled in all different directions by people and responsibilities in our lives. One day we may decide that we don’t feel so healthy. We are too tired, too impatient and getting frustrated. We realize that we need to say no to some people and events. So, we lay down the personal boundaries. “I can’t volunteer for that event next week, sorry!” Our boundary was no events more then 20 miles away. What does this teach us about ourselves?

Blocks: There’s nothing like an obstacle to make us get creative into overcoming it. Doesn’t it feel good when we do just that? Blocks are part of our life road maps. They represent a pause, a time to step back and think about where we are going.

Meditation: Think about how boundaries and blocks “help” you in life. How might they help you get to know yourself. What have they taught you.
