It Was A Mountain To Cross Not To Carry.

Thought Bubble: It was a life lesson not a life sentence. Do you find yourself getting too stuck in something negative that happened to you? Is it difficult to move on and learn and grow from this experience?

Meditation: Deep breath. This requires a little thinking and probing inside. Ask yourself when was the last time you held onto a negative experience for far too long. Where you twisted and analyzed it. You might have even shaped it into something it was not. What comes to mind?

Discussion: Keep in mind, the origin of this type of trauma likely goes back to childhood before you turned seven years old. Children can be scared of things that as an adult you know better. Sometimes adults may make adult decisions that are not child oriented. All this is scary for a child, whom views the world strictly as being the center of it. Remember when as a child (or even…now) you think bad thoughts about another person and something bad happens to them? You blame yourself even though this is very illogical and NOT TRUE!

The best thing to do with this burden you are carrying is to examine it and let it go. Carlos Castaneda taught a technique about turning your head to the right and breathing in while thinking of this person, place, event that absorbed you. Slowly turn your head to the left as you exhale while pulling your younger self back into your current view point and giving those strong negative emotions over to the Universe, Source, God et al. What you might experience will be what is called a “shift” in thinking. You might get a message, reason for why this experience occurred but not always. Hopefully, you feel a sense of dropping a burden that is too heavy and unnecessary for your life at present.
